I had the idea to create a simple website that would remind people of one historical event that happened on that particular day. That's how TodayOnce.com was born.
The events for each day are selected randomly and rotate over time. The purpose of the website is to enrich its visitors with a daily glimpse into history. The website is completely non-commercial and contains no advertising.
